Tidewater Golf Club is a Public, 18-hole golf course located in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Ken Tomlinson designed the course. Tidewater first opened for play in 1990.
Nestled between the Intracoastal Waterway and Cherry Grove Inlet, Tidewater Golf Club delivers unmatched natural beauty and a layout that has been ranked among the nation’s top 100 public courses.
Home to nine holes that play along the water, Tidewater’s stunning landscape leaves golfers raving long after they’ve returned home. Particularly memorable are holes 3, 4, 12, and 13, all of which reside along Cherry Grove, a tidal inlet that empties into the nearby Atlantic Ocean.

Tidewater is one of the courses in the Myrtle Beach area that should be played no later than your second trip to the area. Once you experience the terrific variation in holes that this course has to offer, my guess is, that most golfers will want to play it again and again, always including it as part of the Myrtle Beach experience. Only once, in all the times that I've come to this area, have I failed to include it as part of the days that I play and then, only because the weather won out that year on that day.
